Our mission at SiteScape has always been to democratize 3D scanning for the built environment. Since launching SiteScape Pro one year ago, we’ve seen a deluge of amazing examples from users, and we could not be more grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received from the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Facilities Management industries, not to mention hobbyists from around the world. This has only strengthened our belief in the value and potential for accessible LiDAR data, and we’re more committed than ever to continue building.
At FARO, a global leader in cutting-edge laser scanning systems, we found many like minds that shared our vision. By joining forces, we are excited to accelerate development and bring iPhone 3D scanning to an even wider audience.
SiteScape will remain a standalone app on the App Store, and development will continue as before. Check out our full FAQ for more information below.
